Mark S. McNutt

Mark S. McNutt has been an avid student of metaphysics since the mid 1960's (childhood) and has been a certified professional Astrologer (thru the AFA) since 1972, when he became old enough to join.

Since 1971, Mark has been teaching Astrology and other related subjects and has given thousands of readings. Some of his many students have been inspired to become professionals thru his teaching. His divination tools also include Tarot and Astro*Runes(c), which he created in 1994. In addition, Mark has been involved in the healing arts for decades, and has been imparting Reiki initiations and treatments since becoming a Reiki Master in 1995.

About that time, and thru creating flower essences, Mark discovered he has always been a non-trance channel, with no need to "leave his body" to receive messages from a wide variety of sources. He is also a musician and composer, poet, and author of many New Age articles.

In 1991, Mark created the non-profit Aerious Foundation, to encourage the importance of connecting the metaphysical with Earth thru ecology, diet, permaculture, off the grid living, and environmental awareness.

From 1990-6, he published and edited the Aerious Journal of Metaphysics, then turned his attention to practicing the Aerious philosophy of combining Earth and Sky thru the off the grid nature sanctuary YewWood Forest Retreat Center in the OR Coast Range, where he is presently building an octagonic Straw Bale Lodge to accommodate more visitors for retreats.

His partner, MaryGold, co-directs the work of Aerious and the YFRC, and teaches permaculture, yoga, macrobiotic and vegan cooking for health, and Ki-energy. These themes combined with Mark's knowledge are presented in the Earth and Sky Lifeskills Apprenticeship Program.

Mark has recently finished writing a book on creating sacred space and understanding yourself and omens called "The Nature of Place."
