Ki-Shiatsu
Ki is energy.
Shiatsu, meaning finger pressure, is an ancient Japanese
healing art. Pressure is applied along the body 's energy
lines and pressure points to increase vitality. It has a calming,
relaxing effect that deeply heals and nourishes the body in
such a way that the treatment will continue to take effect
for days after the session. The recipient is left with a sense
of centered well-being and energized inner harmony.
Ki-Shiatsu pays special attention to how we apply
this pressure.
MaryGold studied Ki-Shiatsu at the
Akai Institute in Sydney Australia in 1990-91, and has been
practicing shiatsu for over 12 years. She can be contacted
for further information, sessions and classes.
