Aerious Presents the 15th Annual Earth and Sky Creation Festival August 14-17 (2008) in Deadwood OR At The YewWood Nature Spirit Sanxuary Come join us at The Creation Festival! This special event, a gathering of friends old and new, is dedicated to the “Celebration of the Fey”, reveling in the fun and co-creative wyld spirit of nature within and around us. “Fey” is an ancient term used to describe both the Faerie realm of light beings and those humyns who have Faerie-like qualities and otherwise dance and play with them. "Deva" means literally ‘the Shining ones’ who are seen as light beings. This term is associated with any higher Spirit such as the overlighting Angels of various plants and places like for example tomatoes, forests, mountains, valleys, house spirits, spirits of music like Saraswati, and so on. The Creation Festival is an immersion experiential event with guided activities and presentations to co-create deep magick together in a pristine woodland environment that is dedicated to such joy and revelry.  It is not a commercial music and crafts fair (although participants are encouraged to bring and share their arts and talents). This is a yearly gathering to reclaim and celebrate all of who we are, separately and in supportive community. Each of the 3 ½ days (Thurs eve-Sun aft) will have an elemental focus, including Astrology, Music, Communion, and Classes (Air), FireWalk and exuberance (Fire), Vibrational Essences, charging water, creek, sauna, a magickal spring and emotional purification (Water), Trees, plants, Nature, Yoga, Dance and movement (Earth), and a lot more. The price of $110-150 covers all costs, including 7 mostly OG Vegan meals, plus snax, camping, parking, and materials. Through guided exercises and spontaneity, we will use Vocalizing, Breath, and Movement to find and express Authentic Connection to ourselves and the Universe. Shannon Marie Svensson is a Faerie Queen and Reiki Master Healer from the Pacific Northwest who travels the world with her wanderlust on adventures of mythical healing. Her most recent trip brought her to the ancient forests of Sweden where she met the Trolls of Tyresta, the Moose Lord and other living legends.

“Trolls of Tyresta” is a lively infusion of tall tales, troll song and tremendous healing. Human intention and interaction has a direct effect on the state of the environment. Shannon’s presentation shows participants how love and friendship can help bring back the balance between the land and its inhabitants.

Victory Moon

As a young child Victory felt incredibly connected to the natural world, carrying on conversations with the trees, the ocean, and the natural world. She has always shared an innate sense of connection with animals and the Divine in an experiential sense. Victory grew up to find that she could see and feel auras, "soul pictures", often see and describe past lives, animal guides and spirits, and celestial guides. She felt very called to the Native way of being, Shamanism, and the natural world.

Victory went on to explore western medicine, becoming a firefighter and medic, studying emergency medicine and nutrition from a western sense. Unfullfilled in her experience, she turned to natural medicine and began her studies, as well as enrolling in the CPE program at Harborview Hospital to become a chaplain for the Spiritual Care Department.

At 30 she left the US to explore the world on her own, studied healing properties with the Maori of New Zealand, then went to Thailand as a volunteer medic and chaplain for the Tsunami Relief. She lived in Thailand for one year, shaving her head and leaving the material world to become a Buddhist Nun in the remote village of Smeung in the hills of Northern Thailand. In Thailand she studied Chinese/Asian medicine, Thai and Hilltribe medicine, and once disrobing she went into town to study Thai massage and the healing properties of Thai herbs.

Coming home to the US almost two years later, she was called into crystal healing and Reiki, and engrossed in an in-depth training and study of crystal medicine and energy with various teachers. She trained at Bastyr University in Craniosacral Therapy and now goes back to assist her mentor in teaching new students there. Spirit has since called her into a greater role in Shamanism, gifting her with many power objects and teachers in Shamanism, and asking her to be a part in calling forth the feminine earth medicine into power and balance once again. The trees, guides, and spirits continue to gift her with visions and messages to be shared for the good of all.

Victory continues to train in various healing modalities, this summer she will undergo training in doula/midwifery.
