Livingwell Lifeskills Apprenticeship 2009
Permaculture in Action
At The YewWood Nature Spirit Sanxuary Deadwood, OR 541-964-5341
Dates: June 6-13 and August 1-8
This year, we are offering special and unique one week (7 day) live-in apprenticeships in combined studies of Permaculture and earth/homesteading arts along with healing arts and related magickal tools for knowing yourself and focusing your intentions into manifestation in your daily life. We believe that we are only a part of a larger environment, which includes the visible and invisible world, and that we can interact in a good way with the environment in a mutually beneficial and healing way.
This hands-on educational experience is designed for the curious and dedicated on any level, for the students to receive well rounded instruction and experience in a week long package. The week can be extended longer into alonger stay, with a worktrade arrangement or some personal instruction by arrangement. The seasons and weather guide the activities, as nature is always in charge. There will be a balancing of information and experience.
For each week long session, there will be guided and independent seasonably based activities on the land that weave together traditional, experience based Permaculture living with magickal aspects of daily living and healing arts, including healing our bodies thru diet and attitude. Typically, this includes OG gardening, wildcrafting of herbs, appropriate alternate building and power, nature studies, and permaculture homesteading tasks. Other activities and training includes Flower and Vibrational Essences, uses of plants and landscape for healing, Healing Arts including Reiki, Astrological and Lunar cycles in people and plants, and much more on an individual basis and desire to learn.
The primary intention of Aerious, a 501©3 Educational Organization, is to present information and hands-on educational activities to broaden one’s understanding of relationship between earth and self for personal and planetary evolution. The YewWood Nature Spirit Sanxuary has provided a living participatory co-creative environment for this to happen since 1993, and back to 1984 in OG gardening.
It is our belief that planetary healing can best occur thru direct communion with nature and our natures, and recognizing that we are only one integral part of a wheel of life that includes all sentient life- not just flora and fauna but even the unseen beings. Our lives here are a balance of earth plane homesteading and solving modern dilemmas of resources and natural living with guided healing arts opportunities and communion with the greatest magick we can co-create.
