Aaah, the Bel times – flowers, green life, fragrances and pollen – tells us that the Earth Mother Gaia is working up to a new season here in the Northern Hemisphere. A renewal of life and growth. What is it that you wish to intend or accomplish this season? What mysteries are you ready to unravel? We are co-creating here at Living Well with all sentient beings from flowers to faunas to elementals.
We are awakening our land and an influx of new energy here with a very special Firewalk on 4/24. We have opened our land to Firewalks since 1997, first with Heather Ash (chief publicist for and student of) Don Miguel Ruiz (author of Four Agreements) and eventually establishing (last year) a training facility for Firewalk instructors. The fire element balances a very full tool box offered here – including instruxion in Astrology, Healing Arts (including Reiki, Ki-Shiatsu, Shamanic training, Permaculture, Eco-Building, Alternative Energy, Earthern Plaster, and Community Homesteading – all in our wooded Nature Sanxuary here in the Oregon Coastal Mountains.
Our calendar is shaping up and evolving for this season, and we wish to draw your attention to two key events, one quite soon.
We are offering a Firewalk on 4/24 beginning at 3:30 pm. This particular Firewalk is a celebration and Rite of Passage for our student Meghan Quinn to begin her career as a Firewalking leader. We hold Meghan in a place of high esteem and feel her combined focus and intentions for ecstatic liberation will make her an exemplary Firewalk leader now and in the future.
Firewalking is not a challenge of mind over matter, and no one is expected or required to walk. It is a challenge to go beyond your mind and listen to your feelings. There is a required orientation beforehand, and being in a firewalking circle will certainly be a transformative life changing experience. Your greatest challenge is to be fully present, stalk yourself, and release from limitations of your mind, logic, and assumptions.
